HI GRADE FOAM GLAZING TAPE

Description

Premier XtraTape™GT950 Series Glazing tapes are closed cell polyolefin foam tapes specifically designed for the fenestration and OEM industry. The tape is coated with a solvent based acrylic adhesive on both sides. The unique tape seals against air, moisture, dust and any outside penetration. Both sides provide optimum performance and is developed to withstand high UV exposure. All of our tapes are in accordance and complies to AAMA 810.1-92 Type 1.

Specifications

APPLICATION

GT950 must be applied to surfaces that are clean, dry and free of any outside debris. It is recommend that all substrates be cleaned with some type of cleaning agent. To apply tape , position tape on window leg so the tape is aligned even to the sight line. To create an initial adhesion, apply steady firm pressure to the tape. Note all corners and cut offs are to be performed using a sharp knife. Premier recommends that all glass be secured using setting blocks. Recommended application and temperature: 55- 95 degree's

Due to the nature of diverse substrates , manufacturing processes and chemistry variances within the window, it is recommend that you perform your own test prior to use.

STORAGE

Premiers GT950 should be stored in a controlled climate between 50 degrees and 85 degrees with 50% Relative Humidity. If application is being performed under 50 degree's, its recommended that the sash or substrate be stored in higher temperatures prior to application.

This product is guaranteed to give satisfactory performance if applied in accordance with the label directions. Liability to Premier Industrial Supply, Inc. (Premier) is limited to a full refund of the purchase price or product replacement if product is proven defective.
