INTUMESCENT FIRE AND DRAFT SEALANT

Description

XtraStop™ 550 is designed for filling areas around wires, vents, pipes, ducts and other wall penetrations & construction voids. It is a commercial quality, intumescent, non combustible fire, smoke and draft stopping sealant. XtraStop™ 550 is a water based sealant and can be used wherever ASTM E-814 Specification is needed. The Fire Stop Caulk can withstand 3000 degrees for up to 8 hours and can be safely removed with soap and water prior to curing.

Specifications

HOW TO USE:

For best results, prepare clean, dry surface. Cut nozzle desired bead size and puncture inner seal. Apply with a caulking gun forcing sealant onto the substrate, then tool if needed. Can be painted within 2 hours depending upon bead size (Clean excess material with soap and water). It is the user’s responsibility to thoroughly test the proposed use of our products with any and all substrates.

STORAGE LIFE:

12 months shelf life. XtraStop™ 550 is not affected by freeze thaw but should be stored between freezing and 160° F.

This product is guaranteed to give satisfactory performance if applied in accordance with the label directions. Liability to Premier Industrial Supply, Inc. (Premier) is limited to a full refund of the purchase price or product replacement if product is proven defective.
