XtraFlash™ Butyl Rubber Based Waterproof Membrane is an aggressive self-adhesive & selfsealing waterproof flashing membrane that adheres to plywood, OSB, masonry, aluminum, vinyl, steel, drywall, and housewrap. The membrane is based on our proven water and moisture vapor barrier technology.

INSTALLATION TEMP. RANGE:

XtraFlash™ Butyl Rubber Based Waterproof Membrane is intended for use in high-temperature areas, such as the desert southwest areas of the U.S., although it provides excellent weather protection and can be installed in all areas of the U.S. This product can sustain a wide range of service temperatures ranging from as low as 0 degrees to as high as 240 deg F.

COMPATIBILITY:

XtraFlash™ has been tested with all the Xtrabond Sealants and is deemed compatible. If this product is used in close proximity with any other sealants or adhesive, a compatibility test is strongly suggested by the professional prior to application and use.

BENEFITS AND INTENDED USE:

XtraFlash™ Butyl Rubber Based Waterproof Membrane seals around nails and other mechanical fasteners, and is impermeable to water, air and moisture vapor. It can be used to flash around windows and doors, and to seal joints, the area around vents, and other openings under most exterior surfaces including brick, stucco and wood, vinyl and metal siding.

WARRANTS THAT THE XTRAFLASH PRODUCT SHALL BE FREE OF LEAKS DURING ITS LIFETIME AND WILL GIVE SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE IF NSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURER'S WRITTEN NSTRUCTIONS AND ACCEPTED INDUSTRY STANDARDS. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS VOID IF THE PRODUCT IS MISAPPLIED OR THERE IS POOR WORKMANSHIP IN THE APPLICATION OF THE PRODUCT AND COMPONENTS. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY EXPRESSLY EXCLUDES ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  ATURAL CAUSES, SUCH AS ACTS OF GOD, EARTHQUAKE, LIGHTINING, HURRICANE, FIRE, FLOOD OR ACTS OF WAR, DISINTEGRATION OF THE UNDERLYING SUBSTRATES, MECHANICAL DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENTS CAUSED BY INDIVIDUALS, TOOLS OR OTHER OUTSIDE AGENTS SHALL VOID THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
