HIGH TEMPERATURE RED SILICONE SEALANT

Description

XtraBond™ 150HT High Temperature Red Silicone Sealant is a one part, easy to use, non slumping paste that cures to a silicone rubber when exposed to atmospheric moisture at room temperature. This product is formulated to perform at temperatures ranging from -80 deg. F to 500 deg. F continuous, and up to 600 deg. F for intermittent exposures.

Specifications

SURFACE PREPERATIONS:

The substrate must be clean, dry, frost free, sound, and free of any oils, grease or incompatible sealers, paints or coatings that may interfere with adhesion. Do not apply if surface is damp or contaminated. It is recommended all substrates are tested prior to application.

HOW TO USE:

For best results, ensure surface is clean, dry and free of oil or grease. Cut nozzle to desired bead size and puncture inner seal. Apply with a caulking gun forcing sealant onto the substrate, then tool if needed. Sealant will gain a skin in 6 minutes and exhibit full cure within 24 hours. Can be applied in warm or cold conditions. Clean excess material with mineral spirits or similar solvent. It is the user's responsibility to thoroughly test any proposed uses with any and/or all substrates.
